Today Meade took his first trip to the supermarket! We went in and went to the back of the store to get some milk and he started walking funny. So I started watching closer to see what was wrong and he was slipping on the floor. How do you get your puppies not to slip? Or do the just have to learn how to walk on the slippery floors?
Sorry, no pictures!
I've found that they just have to learn not to slip. When we are in stores Garbina walks really funny. It's almost like she prances to keep her feet from slipping. Walking faster might help, but I'm not sure.
ReplyDeleteMostly you just have to keep exposing them to the floors and they will start to adapt the way they walk so they don't slip....hope that helps!
ReplyDeleteCabana used to slip and slide all over the place. And sometimes, she'd stop walking, and before I realized it, I'd be pulling her across the slippery floor. Like Madison said, I think they just learn how to walk without slipping--but it took a while for Cabana to get it.
